With 10S 10E Lv50 Dwellers and at least 15+ damage weapons, Deathclaws usually run pass to next room before killing the dwellers. Once all the training is done, start pumping Rare Plasma Rifles or Legendary Armor Piercing Miniguns to gear up your front rooms. Then a week of leveling them to Lv50 with 5E Sturdy Wasteland Gear. And train six to 10S 5P 10E 10A for questing. Twelve Dwellers with 10S 10E for Power Plants, four 10P 10E for Water Purification, four 10A 10E for Hydroponics Garden. Then I reduced the population to 50 and start a week of training. Since I already have layout plan beforehand, thus my Weapon Factory, Outfit Factory and the Overseer Office are exactly where I want and there should not be a need to dismantle and move them. The reason for this is to 1) upgrade my Weapon Factory to Legendary Weapon production capability, 2) unlock all Training Rooms and Nuclear Plant 3) upgrade Overseer Office to lv3, without commitment. I liberally rushed to 75-80 populations right from thecstart by sending 25 dweller to die in the waste land (so they don't take resources) and have 10 people queuing outside the vault (via Five 1-wide radio rooms).
